Our seventh committee is Town of Salem!

Salem, which is located on the north coast of Massachusetts above Boston, is the city in which one of the darkest stories of the United States’ history have emerged: Witches. 

In 1692, Puritan community led the unjust persecution and execution of innocent individuals. From fear and suspicion, many actions within the nature of humans were prohibited since it was regarded as magic, including singing and dancing. Scientific activities were considered as witchcraft. The Superior Court of Judicature held trials and led the witch hunts.

In this special committee, the representatives will try to find the witches among them along with keeping the society’s well-being to prevent riots against the government; while witches will protect themselves from being caught. Let the hunt, once and for all, begin!
